The Susitna Valley Rams hockey team played the visiting Juneau-Douglas JV Crimson Bears tonight at the Talkeetna Community Hockey Rink. For the Juneau-Douglas team, it was a rare opportunity to play a game on an outdoor rink. For the Susitna Valley team, it was their second to last home game of the season. Many fans were in attendance, most notably a large number of Rams basketball players, who have the weekend off from competition. Press play below to listen to the game, period by period.

We’re in a bit of a sporting lull, but practices are in full swing. The Susitna Valley Rams hockey team is preparing for two games against Juneau-Douglas JV this weekend.
