The Susitna Valley Rams and the Tri-Valley Viking Warriors played their regional qualifier this evening. It’s win and your in. State, that is. The winner of this game qualifies for next week’s State Championship games. Tri-Valley is the second seed in the Greatland Conference. Susitna Valley is the seventh seed. The teams are familiar with each other as the teams played each other twice last weekend. In the day’s first game, Delta Junction qualified for State with a 3-2 win over Kenny Lake. Check out play by play coverage of the game below.

I am from Healy. I really enjoy listening to your play by play hockey games. You do an awsome job!
Deb,
Thank you. I’m sorry that I won’t be able to cover the Tri-Valley games at the State Tournament. I probably shouldn’t play favorites, but I’m hoping for a Tri-Valley championship. Your sons sure can play. It was great to see a player of Kaz’s caliber out on the ice fine tuning his game while everyone else was waking up. Please congratulate him on his Greatland Conference MVP award. Well deserved from the little that I saw.
I’d like to give all the credit that went to Forest Shreeve in this to Sterling Shreeve, i wasn’t able to make it to that game so i think you just accidentally said my name rather then my brother’s
